We commenced development of our research platform in 2013, under "OH-Alive," a State of Ohio supported grant that supported our research at Case Western University and Cleveland Clinic.
We incorporated in 2015 as Trailhead Biosystems, Inc., headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Altogether we have received more than $5 million in non-dilutive federal, State and funding and support to develop our pioneering technology platform.
We are the pioneer of HD-DoE Technology (High-Dimensional Design of Experiments). Our platform merges developmental biology and cell therapeutics with cutting edge hardware, computerized experimental design, and analysis to perform process-specific parameter optimization in the development of cell therapies.
Our current projects include developing a cure for Type I Diabetes and creating specialized neuronal cells to address Alzheimer’s diseases, Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS).
We are also developing a drug combination to treat COVID-19.
