Scale-Up is a venture capital firm based in Palo Alto, California. We focus on investing in late and growth-stage companies in artificial intelligence, fintech, real-estate tech, data and analytics, next-generation infrastructure, online to offline sectors, and the sharing economy. At times, we meet founders that have a little more insight into their market than they ought to. They see inefficiencies that went unnoticed for a long time, even though technologies to solve them have long since been developed. We are fortunate to partner with many such entrepreneurs in their journey to improve the world. We started with investments in mid- and growth-stage technology companies. Our most recent fund is focused on U.S. based Unicorns that break through the symbolic barrier of $2B valuation and bring tremendous value to their customers while creating and transforming large markets. Scale-Up’s experienced team of managing and venture partners have invested in nearly 100 technology companies from seed to growth stage, a number of which have since become unicorns and decacorns. Out of a hundred investments made by our team so far, all are US-based technology companies with about 30% led by Israeli founders. These investments range from companies like Altair Semiconductor (acquired by Sony) through companies like Spot.IM (soon to be a unicorn) and to already renown unicorns like Opendoor, Reddit, Poshmark, Outreach, and up to decacorns like Snap and Slack. Some of these investments have generated about 200x ROI.
