Sanyal Biotechnology is a contract research organization specializing in a pre-clinical small animal model screening of drugs. We are built to serve the needs of clients who seek a more physiologically relevant small animal model for their preclinical research into liver disease and other comorbidities resulting from the metabolic syndrome. We have developed a proprietary isogenic mouse model, the DIAMONDᵀᴹ mouse, that develops NAFLD and NASH solely due to Western Diet. The pathology and physiological changes' progression exactly parallel development of human liver disease due to metabolic syndrome. The DIAMONDᵀᴹ mice develop metabolic syndrome symptoms, including obesity, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance; additionally, their liver pathology also progresses to cirrhosis and HCC. We develop customized studies to screen your compounds of interest based on your desired end-points, and provide professional data interpretation. We offer a flexible menu of core services beyond histopathology. Investigations are carried out in an AAALAC accredited, GLP conditions.
