Legal Services of the Hudson Valley's mission is to provide free, high-quality counsel in civil concerns for poor and low-income selves and families who cannot afford to pay an attorney where basic personal needs are at stake. Legal Services of the Hudson Valley was founded in 1967 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing no-cost, high-quality legal counsel in civil matters where basic human needs are at stake for poor and low-income groups and individuals who cannot afford an attorney. With the gap separating those who can and cannot afford legal representation widening each day, we work to ensure that everyone has access to justice, regardless of their ability to pay. As the only provider of complete civil legal services to all seven lower and mid-Hudson Valley (Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan), LSHV is proud to impact tens of thousands of people each year.
