Industrial Controls & Automation is owned and operated by Tony Daily, an electrical engineer graduate from Purdue University. Mr. Daily started ICA in 1994 by building control panels for an electrical distributor that was supplying panels and programming for several local machine builders. This led to an expansion of the company to include downloading programs, making modifications to panels and, becoming a central Indiana leader in systems integration.
The company moved from Bargersville, Ind. to Franklin in 2008, where they started designing complete special machines and robotic cells. ICA develops all of its mechanical designs in-house and can therefore provide service to its customers in shorter time and with competitive or lower costs.
In 2013, ICA became the only authorized Fanuc Robotic Integrator serving the greater Indianapolis area. Fanuc is the leader in the machine tending and automotive market.
Today, ICA employs 10 engineers, sales and service technicians. 2016 will be it’s most successful year since its founding, and continued growth is envisioned for the next 5 years, with market expansion throughout Indiana and bordering states.
