The Illinois Biotechnology Innovation Organization (iBIO) is a life sciences industry organization of more than 500 members comprised of life sciences businesses, universities, academic institutions, service providers and others dedicated to making Illinois and the surrounding Midwest one of the world's top life sciences centers.

We drive industry growth by creating a forum for the life sciences community to educate the public and policymakers, influencing public policy and developing the community's economic benefits.

iBIO's members range from small startups to global corporations. They work in the agricultural, bio-industrial, pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors. Our members care deeply about intellectual property protection, science-based regulation, restoring the educational capabilities of the United States and fostering a partnership climate conducive to an innovation-based economy.
