I started Central Mass Bookkeeping & Tax in 2013, after assisting several entrepreneurial friends with the bookkeeping for their small businesses.
I am an Enrolled Agent, admitted to practice before the IRS, with 9+ years of accounting experience. After graduating from Bentley University with a degree in Finance, I spent 5+ years in the corporate sector in the roles of staff accountant and corporate finance & business analyst. These positions exposed me to the basics of GAAP compliant accounting, fixed asset management, financial analysis and reporting, management reporting, budgeting & forecasting and sales tax collection & filing.
I am also a full-time firefighter and Executive Officer/Treasurer of a collective bargaining labor union, giving me insight into both the realities and requirements of being a public safety employee, and hands-on experience in managing the finances and operations of a labor union.
My goal is offer clarity and understanding to my clients, providing them the tools and insight to make better financial decisions, both personally and professionally.
