Barrington Media Group was founded in 2003 by Peter Stavisky on the simple principal of approaching direct response media buying from a different point of view.
Pete figured he could achieve great media efficiencies for his clients by taking big personal risks and buying large blocks of network inventory upfront. First his friends told him he was crazy and that he was going to lose everything. Then the media strategy worked really well and pretty soon his clients were asking how much more he could buy for them…and the company was off to the races.
